With sweeping 92-to-8 bipartisan support the Senate just passed S.47, which permanently authorizes the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) among many other wins for people and wildlife! LWCF supports collaborative conservation like the U.S. Forest Service's Community Forest Program, which in 2015 helped Vital Ground protect wildlife habitat and public access at Alvord Lake in northwestern Montana.
